My Active Patch has fallen off after a few days! What now?

We have been getting a few clients who have contacted us stating that their Active Patches have fallen off within a few days after application. We thus thought a brilliant opportunity to give you the run down of the life cycle of the Active Patch 4U!

The Active Patch 4U is made up of a small black membrane, this membrane does not release any minerals, chemicals of substance into your skin. This membrane acts as a mirror that reflects the body's lost far Infra Red Energy back into the body in an acute area - directly beneath the Active Patch. This membrane is designed to last up to 2 weeks (14 days) and the reason for this, is that your skin releases sweat and in the sweat is fat cells. This then degrades the quality of the mirror like effect of the Active Patch 4U membrane and thus after 2 weeks we suggest a new application with clean membranes.

** We are busy testing these 2 week old Active Patches on scars and will hopefully have some good results soon. **

So now that you have an understanding of why the Active Patch 4U can last 2 weeks, lets move onto solving the problem of a patch that has fallen off early.

Options 1:

Simply take your patch and cut out the black membrane, do not cut the membrane or the protective film over the membrane. Cut it out and take any good strapping tape and reapply to the exact same area. We suggest cleaning the skin with pure alcohol before application.

Option 2:

Carefully peel the black membrane and film off the old plaster, and take any good strapping tape and reapply to the exact same area. We suggest cleaning the skin with pure alcohol before application.

There you have it, your Active Patch 4U is made to last 2 weeks and we really suggest you keep the patch applied for a full 2 weeks and possibly even a second application to get the best results from the product.
